New Zealand Kettle Korn ‘Cash for Classrooms’ Promotion 2026

1. Promoter.

The promoter is New Zealand Kettle Korn Ltd (“the Promoter”).

2. Promotion Period

The promotion runs from 12:01am, 20 April 2026 to 11:59pm, 31 May 2026 (“Promotion Period”). All barcode submissions must be received by the Promoter no later than 7 June 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility.

3.1 Open to all New Zealand schools and learning institutions, including public, private, ECE centres, kura kaupapa, homeschool groups, and alternative learning institutions (“Eligible Schools”). 3.2 Entries must be submitted on behalf of a nominated school. 3.3 Anyone may collect barcodes on behalf of a school, including students, parents, teachers, whānau, and members of the public. However, employees, contractors, agents, or representatives of the Promoter, its associated agencies, participating retailers, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter on behalf of a school.

4. How to Enter.

4.1 100 valid barcodes = 1 entry. 4.2 Schools may enter as many times as they like. 4.3 Eligible products include: 204g multipack outer barcodes (Salted; Sweet & Sea Salt) and all 70g-150g family bags. 4.4 The following are not eligible and will not be counted: 17g inner snack pack barcodes;

Photocopied, scanned, printed, altered, or duplicated barcodes; Damaged barcodes where the product code cannot be verified. 4.5 All barcodes submitted become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.

5. Starter Kits

5.1 Starter Kits are optional. A Starter Kit is not required to participate in this promotion. 5.2 Starter Kits are only available during the first 2 weeks of the Promotion Period and are limited to one per school. 5.3 A Starter Kit includes: 10 starter barcodes and 1 prepaid, preaddressed envelope. 5.4 If multiple individuals are collecting for the same school, the school is still only eligible for one prepaid envelope. Collectors must collate all barcodes into that single courier bag or submit additional barcodes using their own packaging and postage.

6. Submitting Entries

6.1 Barcodes must be submitted in the prepaid envelope (if received) or another envelope/bag addressed to the Promoter. 6.2 Entries must arrive no later than 7 June 2026. 6.3 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, improperly packaged, illegible, or postage unpaid.

7. Prizes

7.1 Cash Prize Pool — Total $5,000. 1st Prize: $2,500, 2nd Prize: $1,500, 3rd Prize: $1,000

8. Prize Draw and Winner Notification.

8.1 All winners will be drawn within 7 days of the final receipt date. 8.2 Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided by the school or its representative. 8.3 The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the winning school using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If the Promoter is unable to successfully contact the winning school within five (5) business days of the prize draw, or if the winning school does not respond and confirm acceptance of the prize within this timeframe, the prize will be deemed unclaimed. In this event, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reallocate the prize to another valid entrant, to conduct a further draw, or to otherwise deal with the unclaimed prize in any manner permitted by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if a winning school cannot be contacted due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated contact details supplied. 8.4 Cash prizes will be paid into the school’s official bank account.

9. Social Media Surprise Challenges (“Entry Boosters”).

9.1 Throughout the Promotion Period, the Promoter reserves the right to run unannounced social media challenges (“Entry Boosters”). 9.2 Entry Boosters may provide schools with bonus entries, separate to barcode collections. 9.3 Challenge examples may include (but are not limited to): Posting a photo of a class enjoying NZ Kettle Korn, completing a themed challenge; Engaging with specific NZ Kettle Korn social media content. 9.4 Full rules for each Entry Booster will be announced at the time of posting.

10. Publicity Rights

10.1 By entering, schools and their representatives agree that the Promoter may: Publish the names of winning schools on its website or social channels; Share photos submitted during Entry Boosters or prize announcements; Use supplied content for promotional purposes without additional

compensation

11. Antifraud and Verification

11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to: Verify any entry or barcode; Request proof of purchase if required; Bulk submission using AI generated barcodes, multiple identities used to collect starter kits, tampering with barcodes or coordinated attempts to overwhelm or manipulate entry counting is explicitly prohibited; Disqualify any entry deemed fraudulent, tampered with, duplicated, or inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions. 11.2 Fraudulent or suspicious activity may result in all entries from that school being void.

12. General Conditions

12.1 Participation indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. 12.2 The Promoter may amend, suspend, or terminate the promotion, if necessary, due to technical issues, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond its control. 12.3 The Promoter handles all personal information in accordance with the NZ Privacy Act 2020. 12.4 Normal product availability applies; the Promoter is not responsible for retailer stock levels. 12.5 Nothing in these terms limits any rights available under New Zealand consumer law.

13. Promoter’s Absolute Discretion

The Promoter reserves the absolute right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to: (a) verify the validity of any entry, barcode submission, or participant (including a school or its nominated representative); (b) require additional information or proof of identity, authority, or eligibility if

considered necessary; (c) disqualify any entrant or school that submits incomplete, incorrect, forged, fraudulent, tampered with, or otherwise invalid entries, or who the Promoter reasonably believes has breached these Terms and Conditions, engaged in any improper conduct, or attempted to interfere with the fair operation of the Promotion; (d) determine the authenticity of submitted barcodes, packaging, courier bags, or supporting materials; (e) amend, suspend, cancel, or extend any aspect of the Promotion where such action is required for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control; and (f) redraw or reallocate any prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, including where a prize is unclaimed or a winning school is deemed ineligible. All decisions made by the Promoter in relation to the Promotion, including but not limited to decisions regarding eligibility, entry validity, disqualification, prize allocation, and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. Product Availability

New Zealand Kettle Korn products are available nationwide at Woolworths, Fresh Choice, SuperValue, Pak’nSave, New World, and independent retailers.
